I am not the most computer savvy person. I have decent knowledge, but nothing compared to what I read on a lot of these forums. I did a bit of research and came up with this build for my new computer. I will mostly use it for gaming, but hopefully will be doing video editing when I graduate.

I know I don't need the Sata6.0 or that much memory cache on the HD, but it wasn't that much more. Also, is there anything else that I need to get (minus keyboard and mouse) that I didn't include (e.g. thermal paste, cooling fan, etc.)? Let me know what you think and thanks in advance!!!
