I am new to the overclocking craze and I just upgraded my gpu from a 5770 to a 6950 also oc'ed my cpu from 2600 mhz to 3100 mhz .I am getting same framerates in games ( gw d&d warcraft) any answers why?

warcraft as in WoW? What settings are you using and what is your fps? Also, what CPU do you have?

1035t 3100ghz oc'ed consistant 60 fps

you have vsync turned on. turn it off to see how many fps you can really get.

thnx I"ll try that and update,I know there is something fishy I was getting the same fps with 2600ghz and a 5770

Yeah most likely you have Vsync on, which will limit FPS to 60 if you have a 60hz monitor. Just wondering, why did you upgrade your GPU is you were already getting 60 fps constant on everything you played?

I am going to start playing some of the more demanding titles ,Crisis and other first per shooters.
