Hi All,
I have an HP All-In-One TouchScreen Computer (M/N: 610-1020a) which is showing garbage characters on screen when I enter the BIOS and perform other pre-Windows tasks (such as pressing ESC to select a Boot Device).
Below is a screen capture of the BIOS screen, which clearly shows dots all over. Other screens, such as the 'Boot Device' menu also show dots, in other colours. However additional garbage characters (like double talking marks) can be seen if I leave the computer to boot as normal.
Once Windows loads there are few signs of garbage characters; but inevitably a BSOD occurs shortly after boot up (typically 15 - 30 seconds).
If anybody can offer any suggestions on what could be occurring here they will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Davo
