Gateway eRecovery CD

Hi, I have a gateway laptop with a new hard drive. Does the eReovery contain Windows OS? All it says in the information is "eRecovery Media CD sets contain: Recovery DVD, System CD, and Language Disk"

Most probably, it does. Don't expect to get Windows DVD, though - you'll get a bootable CD/DVD which will restore your laptop to "Factory" configuration. In most cases this mean reformatting the hard drive.

Called Gateway today. Yes, it does contain Windows OS. You order by giving the Laptop ser.#. Only $19.95. Not Bad considering I was going to purchase a new OS.
