working on gateway sx211o AMD E2-1800 1.7 duo core,APU with Radeon Graphics, 4 gig memory. running windows 10 home.came out windows 8. f1-f12 did nothing. would not boot from iso, no blinking cursor just went straight to gateway logo.even after setting dvd drive as #1 boot priority. now i set it to legacy, and is booting from iso, but during windows 7 install all the partitions say can't install windows in this partition. needs to be MBR? how do i work past this.

Solution
It depends on what you want to do, do you want both 7 and 10? Or do you just want 7? If you want both, you will have to format the partition in Windows 10 to default allocation size and NTFS, or if you only want 7 you will have to use a tool like @active killdisk to wipe the hard drive clean. Then install Windows.
