Hello,

I want to buy:
- CPU: i7-6700K
- MOBO: ROG MAXIMUS VIII FORMULA motherboard
which has "DDR4 3733+MHz (OC) 4 DIMM Dual Channel XMP Support".

Ideally I want 4x16GB, so I looked up and searched the difference for those sticks.
4x16GB 2133MHz - 384€
4x16GB 3466MHz - 584€

And there is also this PC4-21300 to PC4-27700 stuff.

Can anyone explain me what I would get between 2133MHz and 3466MHz for twice the price ?
And does this PC-27700 stuff make any difference in performance ?

Thank you

Splendid
4x16?
Wow.

The faster the better, and the higher the cost.
Depending on what apps you run, speed can make a difference, though it's usually performance gains are negligible or non existent.

The only justification in pricing something is what people are willing to pay. That's the only logic.
