I recently bought a Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I rev4.2. I downloaded the latest Intel drivers for it (AC8260 for AC Wifi and Bluetooth drivers) and got the thing to work. I tested WiFi and and Bluetooth sending and receiving. No unknown device in device manager. Everything was going fine.

Then after a month or so, when I wanted to send something via bluetooth, my bluetooth icon in the task/tool/notification bar disappeared. Checked windows settings and there was no option to configure my bluetooth on/off. I downloaded the latest drivers from Intel, installed, restarted, still nothing. I checked device manager and "bluetooth" was not listed anymore. I selected View>Show hidden devices, and the bluetooth appeared but was all greyed out. Upon, checking the properties, I get code error 45. I also noticed that I get Unknown USD Device under Universal Serial Bus controllers. I'm sure it wasn't there before. Tried to unplug the bluetooth usb cable from the usb2.0 motherboard header (MSI Z97 Gaming 5), and the unknown usb error disappered. Plugged it back, the error appeared again...so basically, it was the bluetooth.

Tried to uninstall everything under Bluetooth. Tried to install previous version of bluetooth drivers. I even tried to uninstall everything under Universal Serial Bus controllers.

If it's worth mentioning, after I uninstalled everything under Bluetooth in device manager and reinstalling the BT drivers, Bluetooth does not show up in device manager anymore even when I show hidden devices. Also, from error 45, now I get error 43.

Tried to reseat the wifi+bt card. still nothing. Tried to plug the usb cable to another 2.0 header, still nothing.

I'm out of ideas. I hope someone can help me with this.

Wifi is still working fine. I'm running Win 10 Pro 64-bit.

My board is X570 I Aorus Pro Wifi.
I had exactly same situation with you. I tried everything on worldwide solutions and I spend a whole day for fixing the bluetooth problem.
and for the last solution I was try to reinstall my windows10.
before I reinstall , I saw your post and I tried unplug and push power button for 10 sec as you said. and after reboot the windows, it magically appeared bluetooth itself.
I'm still afraid what if it's not working again as you experienced but now it's working fine. thanks for the solution. and I'm so glad to see your wrote before I delete my windows!
Thanks!
Okay, I managed to find my own solution. Not sure which ones are actually needed though because I did a lot of things like uninstall all the BT and WIFI related drivers from device manager. Install older drivers. Install older BIOS. Uninstall the device that has error code 43 then scan for hardware changes. I even edited some registry stuff.

Tried to unplug the PC then pushed the power button for a couple of seconds. There was a blue blinking light on my motherboard, I just kept the power button pressed until the blue light was gone. Then when I booted, it was like the motherboard was restarted or something. When my system reached post, it told me I either need to set things up or just continue to boot. On my desktop, I can now see my BT! It's working fine now!

EDIT: I don't know what happened again, but my BT stopped working again. I tried to perform all the previous troubleshooting I have done, but even after clearing the BIOS, it still won't work. 🙁

I made an account to send this reply. I tried everything in this thread but nothing worked. I saw on a few forums across the internet that unplugging and replugging the usb cable would solve the problem but that never seemed to work for anyone. What DID work for me was inserting the wifi card itself into a different PCIe slot on my motherboard. I hope this reply helps.
