As the the title states, Just did a memory swap from a Cl40 to a Cl32 g.skill x2 16gb sticks with my 14700k on a Aorus Z690 Ultra MB. I'm just making sure I'm not cutting myself short on free performance because I may have missed a setting in bios. When doing the swap I simply let XMP do its thing and while learning, I stumbled across this video today.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding it, but the only difference between mine and his is that his reads ddr4 and his Channel# reads dual, Mine on the other hand reads like so View: https://imgur.com/a/DHNOQ3n

So the question is do I need to adjust my gear mode? because I'm running @ half speed as he kind of explains? or because mine is x4 32bit the math kind of comes out right maybe :??:

F27 Bios currently, F28a is available but I usually wait a month before upgrading a Bios. Its been running stable, showed gains on Timespy of like 800 pts cpu side , did r23 test and its held just fine etc.. I'm just learning all the little nit picky things that get overlooked in a bios such as Resizeable bar, Enabling Insta 6Ghz, Enabling High memory Bandwith, Low memory Latency etc...

Link to the memory I swapped too, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C9GWCLNZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
