summed up in a nutshell :

Took my pc to best buy on like the 19th of August?

Order went from Miami, FL, to NASHVILLE, TN, THEN TO JACKSONVILLE, FL, Then to the store I brought it to.
They claimed everything was free, but now it's literally on "order processing." and I can't pick it up today after waiting basically 2 1/2 weeks because of something that shouldn't be happening.

Lesson :
Never buy from best buy.
It's the worst buy.

Well, this can happen with any repair shop if you purchased your computer from them. This is because they are basically rma-ing any of the affected parts for you to the original manufacturer and that part takes weeks, just like when you rma things yourself. Granted, then it also takes extra time for them to get to your rig and replace the parts, but in reality that work will take less than an hour so at best that part of the delay is maybe day or two.
Anything RMA is like that and that's the nature of rma, not really of geeksquad or any repair service of pre-built rigs. You wouldn't get around it even if you built it yourself.
