GeForce Experience wont open at all cant update drivers

When i open geforce experience it says "Something went wrong. Try restarting GeForce Experience." ive reinstalled and done everything i can think of i just want to open it and update my drivers

i also have a ryzen 3 1300x
evga gtx 1050ti ftw
16gb ram

had this problem with my gtx 980's. try installing a driver set 2 or 3 updates old and everything worked fine for me. took me a wwhile to figure this out. annoyed the hell out of me.

That didnt work i went form 3.16.0.140 to 3.15.0.164 same problem

The issue is the entire Nvidia GFE won't even launch/open at all, so, choosing some sort of older driver is not an option correct?

When you say you've 'reinstalled', what are you referring to? Just the GFE program? A reinstall on top of itself, or, was it removed properly first?

I just unistalled the program then tried reinstalling an older version and it still wont open

You can try IOBit Uninstaller (careful to read everything that comes prechecked with installer, lest you accidentally install some bundled Avast junk, etc...) to remove it, perhaps it will get a better uninstall....

At some point, you'll be reinstalling WIndows to repair this....(you can try a repair install/save data to attempt to avoid reinstalling everything)

IOBit uninstaller worked, then i installed the newest version and it opens
