Geforce FX5200 to replace integrated graphics

ok thx. i checked a review about the 5500 on amazon and they said it was the best u could get for PCI. i can get it from TigerDiecrt.ca for $120 tax and shipping inc. so i think ill go for it. that is after i return the ATI 9600SE i recently bought from FutureShop for $92 but turns out that its AGP and won't fit in my motherboard :? lol. oh well. thx agian

This is only a 128 mb GeForce 6800, but the memory is 256-bit. Would 256-bit 128 mb beat 128-bit 512 mb memory?

Yes. A card with 256MB+ of memory and a 128bit bus can't take advantage of the extra memory.

FX5500=sucks FX stands for F****d to the Xtreme. You'd be better off saving some cash and getting a new computer.
