Geforce GT 610 vs GT 9500

Which of these cards is better? The GT 9500 is around 3-4 years old and was constantly used, compared to the gt 610 which is brand new. GT 9500 has 512mb of dedicated ram while the gt 610 1024mb of dedicated ram. While the 610 seems the clear choice given the numbers, I'm still wondering which one is better for gaming/everyday use? I know they're both really low-end, but that's within my range for now. Thanks.

The 610 is a DX11 card.

Otherwise, they are both useless for gaming and the same for everyday use. It's not worth your money.

I'd say go for either one as far as performance goes, and 610 as it is newer, and consumes less power. You'd be able to run old games at med settings and newer ones, not at all.

The 610 is slightly better in regards to performance but each are weak in terms of gaming ability. 610 GT.

What about a gt 730? Would that help me with gaming?

FAR better than either one of the former ones, just make sure you go for the 1 GB GDDR5 version.
