Geforce GT 730 1024MB GDDR5 Troubles

Hello,

I purchased a PNY Geforce GT 730 1024MB GDDR5 graphics card and ran into some trouble installing it. When I put it into my computer and turn it on, the monitor reports no signal in both the default port on the computer and the graphics card port. I am rather new to computer modification and can be considered a noob, but I did my best to find a solution online but I did not seem to find anything that worked.

Here is my system:
AMD Athlon II X2 215 Processor
12 GB of memory
531966-001 Motherboard

I don't know what other info you may need.

Some older motherboards needed a BIOS update to support newer GPU's. Are you running the latest BIOS?

How do you do that?

Just realised this is a HP PC. In which case there might not be a BIOS update. You will need to find the manual for your PC which should include instructions on how to update the BIOS and any new BIOS' will be available from the HP website.

I am having alot of trouble. I got to here http://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_BCU.html, but the file does not run after installation.
I am not able to find the BIOS file online for Windows 10.
