Geforce gt420 Having Unusual Problems

Well... I don't really know where to start. I have the right video drivers. I have the card installed correctly. My grandpa and uncle have run out of things to try and are just looking on the internet, Said if they can't find anything, they will assume the NEW video card is broken. Whenever I boot with the 420 all the colors are messed up, and the resolution is very low and can't be changed. I have tried MULTIPLE drivers and versions, they're all the same. They said one more thing I could try and do is update my BIOS. In device manager, the video card shows up with a code 43 error. Please help

Edit 1: I've already tried Driver Wiper. No success.

Use DDU driver uninstaller and delete the Nvidia drivers you have

open up your case take the GPU out make sure theres not dust in the PCI slot put it back in and make sure its correctly in and use a different HDMI or DVI port or cable

yeah i would send the card for a RMA. how much did the card cost? why are you using a 420 when the 275 is better by a lot?

Okay. Thanks you helped. My uncle just said he figuref out my computer only has the video slot thing for the gtx series not gt and that was causing the problem
