Hello everyone. I've had my computer for a couple of years (about six) now and I've been increasingly interested in swapping out my current graphics card for one that runs a little better and a little cooler. After reading around, apparently the 470 consumes quite a bit of power too so a reduction in that would be nice as well.
So I was hoping someone could make a suggestion to what card I could upgrade to that would be worth it. Looking around on my own and based on pricing, it seems as though the EVGA Geforce GTX 750ti is the most reasonable option. Does that sound about right?
Here are my specs. Not sure what else to add here so if it's not enough I'm happy to provide more.
Budget: $100-$150. I would like to stay near the lower end of this range if possible.
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 1.2GB 16X PCIe Video Card
CPU: Intel(R) Core™ i7-950 3.06 GHz 8M Intel Smart Cache LGA1366
Memory: 6GB (2GBx3) DDR3/1600MHz Triple Channel Memory Module
Monitor: 22" Widescreen 1680x1050 TFT Active Matrix LCD Display
Mother Board: MSi x58a-gd65
OS: Windows 10 Professional 64-bit
Power Supply: 700 Watts - XtremeGear SLI/CrossFireX Ready Power Supply
