I got myself a GTX 670 a few days ago (yay!) and I installed the latest beta driver from the GeForce website, the 326.80 beta one if I remember correctly..
Now, I have Windows 8 update set to notify me of updates but not to download or install them, I like to see what Windows update is doing as I don't trust it too much..
Today Windows gives me an "important" update, an Nvidia driver update from 10th April 2013, What the hell like?
Best guess is that it is the 314.22 driver.
Does windows not check what driver I have installed before it offers me an update?
Is it because my driver is a beta version?
What about 320.49 from July?
If I had Windows update set to automatically install would it install the older driver over my newer one?
Does this happen to people with automatic updates?
