GeForce GTX 750 Ti Benchmarked: Slower Than GTX 660?

The first rumors were this card was going to have a 256bit bus and thus outperform the 660 but early indication [and this might change] is they are using only 128bit.Why on earth they would use such narrow bandwidth and cripple the card makes no sense.If this card is to replace the boost [discontinued] then logically at the least 192bit.I suppose we won't know for sure until launch.

NVidia has been releasing cripples for at least the last year and a half; cards on which something seems deliberately undersized, disabled, or missing. I don't understand it either.

Probably bad yields and since it's not cost effective to just toss them they are then binned, crippled and released as lower tier cards at a reduced cost.

I see Nvidia and Intel all focusing on this low power consumption components for desktop pc's, am I the only one that doesn't care if my powerbill goes up 2-3$ a month because of my pc? I would rather buy a pc based around actual FPS and performance, then power consumption.

More efficient power usage will lead to better performing cards down the line. While not immediately realized, all gamers should approve.
