hi all. i bought pc 10 years ago in 2008, it was good pc at his time, but now its old and dead, i cannt play new games. I decided to upgrade and give him new life.

my current specs are:
Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E7300 3M Cache, 2.66 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB
Mainboard: asus P5Q SE http://
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9500gt 1gb memory
Hard Disk: Hitachi 320GB
Physical Memory: 4GB
Power supply: HKC SZ-430 PDR

upgrade:
Processor: Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9550 12M Cache, 2.83 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB. i know q9650 is better but its overpriced. 9550 is half price and difference is only 5-10%.
Physical Memory: upgrading for 8GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 TI without 6 power pin connector.
Power supply: EVGA 450 BT, 80+ BRONZE 450W http://

questions:
my mainboard has 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slot. gtx 750 ti requares 3.0. i know its backward compatible but not sure if mainboard will recognize when i plug in video card. anybody knows will my mainboard recognize and run it?
second question EVGA 450 BT, 80+ BRONZE 450W power supply is enough for my upgraded system?

The card and power supply will work fine. I don't know what games you want to play, but that CPU and RAM will hold you back tremendously.
