Hello Comunnity!

First of all, sorry for my English, I'm Spanish and my English isn't very good, I will try to do my best to explain my problems and writte all the things clears for your understanding.

I have some "stupid" problem that I can't understand with my GeForce GTX 760 2GB OC Windforce...

The graphic card usually works fine and do his job well but somedays is breaking my patience.

Without reason, the card works but don't match with the performance all the people have with this Graphic Card, playing all kind of games like "Heroes of the Storm" - "Far Cry 3" - "Dishonored" - "Plants vs Zombies" - "The Witcher 2" - "Battlefield 3" - and so much more with max settings with low FPS and minimums frames.

This happend actually without touch anything of the Hardware and Software, from one day to another, the GTX 760 don't do his job properly and I try to search explanations and possibles causes and still don't found it.

I try all kind of things like reinstalling Drivers, cleaning components, uninstalling programs and drivers from others categories... And the problem persist.

Do you have any idea of what happens?

Feels like a strange problems because somedays all the things works fine and others the games suffers from bad performing.

Looks like you are running off the built in gpu of your processor.

Is your monitor plugged into the video card and NOT the motherboard?

Go into the bios and disable the igpu. Run a driver cleaner after and remove all gpu drivers, especially the intel ones.

Re-install your video card's drivers.

Well... My monitor is connected to the Video Card with an HDMI, not in the motherboard...

I will try to do it what you tell me, thanks a lot.

Whoa yeah something is seriously wrong there.

I would do a full wipe and reinstall of windows etc, rule out a software issue.

Seems so and is really strange because right now the fan is running well and cooling, and just not that, the problems comes from day to another without touching anything, I will try to fix the cooler to get the more attached correctly I can but if don't remember bad, the coolers is well attached and working fine.

Check the CPU fan is plugged into the right port on the mobo (it will say CPU_Fan).

Also, remove the cpu cooler and clean off the old thermal paste and apply new.

I fucked up yesterday when I clean the case and components, thanks for telling me that and sorry...

But again, with the connection in the right side, the problem persist and the BIOS seems with the same results

Heres another video with the CPU heating up and not recognize any fan:

Still shows you dont have it plugged in the right place.

As I said, you need to remove the CPU cooler, clean off the thermal paste, apply new paste and re attach the cooler. The issue is very simple, the cpu cooler isnt making a good connection, causing your cpu to get too hot which is causing your terrible performance.

Just that? I'm doing it right nos and the cooler was good attached, the only thing I don't get is where I hace to put the cables of the differents fans because the BIOS don't reconize the fans...

And yep, I put the CPU Fan cable un the CPU Fan Slot at the left up near the CPU-Cooler.

If you can help me more with that I will thanks you so much...

Anyways I thinks part of the problems is the Vídeo Graphic Card...

The problem appears without reason and without touching anything...

er, you didnt need to take the CPU out, just the cpu cooler... Remove all the old thermal paste, apply just a small rice grain sized amount of thermal paste to the cpu heat spreader then refit the cpu cooler - make sure its push pins have locked.

Pins locked, new paste applied and the problem persist, the CPU keeps going to 92 - 92.5... Later at night I will have a new Cooler but no idea if that can help me/us with the CPU heating up....

Like I say, is strange because usually, at that temperature and all this time, the frames and benchmarks was well and in chord with the product I buy and function.

Someone have an idea of what can be happen?

The CPU is at 92º - 92.5º temperature always even with a new cooler and new paste.

I'm starting to get worried about the CPU and the computer in general, that cpu temperature is very hard pushing and can destroy the CPU.

That intel cooler is not enough then.

Buy an aftermarket one like the hyper 212.

Yeah something clearly isnt right. If you really do have a good thermal connection with the heatsink and cpu, its possible the temp sensor or motherboard is at fault - But I would really be double checking the CPU cooler, more often than not its just not transferring heat from the cpu properly.
