I have a cyberpower pc gamer ultra GUA3100A gaming desktop. I am trying to install an upgrade to the graphics card. I have a GeForce gtx 1050ti that I am changing to. When I go to NVidia to download the driver I get a message that the hardware can not be found. What can I do?

the monitor is plugged in the gpu by an hdmi cable. there is also a connection from the monitor to the motherboard. We could not get the monitor and the graphics card to communicate otherwise.

I am not at all computer savvy. I have no idea what the gpu is set to. I also have no idea what an igpu or peg in bios is....
I think we may also have an issue with the connection. the only reason I see a picture is because the monitor is plugged in to the motherboard. I unplugged the hdmi cable from the monitor and there is no change.

Whats the make and model of the 1050ti you installed? Specs will show if it requires a 6-pin connector.
