I have a gtx 980n ti in my aurora r2 alienware i am wandering if this new card (GEFORCE RTX™ 2080 Ti)will fit in the case? for power im pretty sure i am ok after reading how much the 2080 Ti consume

Depends on the specific card, but typically it will be the standard 10.5" blower style format at launch. If that is what you already have than it will most certainly fit.

They're not doing the blower style cards now. Founder's Edition is a dual-fan model.

As for the OP's question of will it fit? Best way to know for sure is take a tape measure and measure the space inside your case and then compare it to the GPU you want to get.

Ah so they are. I had only seen the leaks of the aftermarket cards so far.

Still, it still looks like a standard 10.5" card. However that does not apply to all the custom cards from the AIBs.
