Not exactly surprising that a GPU with twice as much VRAM, VRAM bandwidth, full 4.0x16 PCIe and intended to succeed the GTX1660 would beat a GPU that AMD pitched against the 4GB RX570.

This was expected. The mining efficiency was not. take official msrp of this card and of the 3090 for instance. $1500 gets you 6 3050s or 1 3090. the 3050s will put out about 82MH/s at 342w compared to about 120MH/s at about 300w for a 3090. it might be poor enough efficiency to see these have slightly better availability. Im not holding my breath, but we can hope right?
