Geforce Titan Black - can a full six pin power connection be used?

My PSU comes with a standard 6 pin and 8 pin power connection for my graphics card, however, a warning label that came with the titan seems to indicate that the 6 pin power connection should have the middle pin empty effectively making it a 5 pin connection.

Can a full 6 pin and 8 pin be used?

What warning label? Can you provide a picture, I'm curious what they are trying to say.

The 6 pin should have 3 yellow wires on one row and 3 black wires the row below, the 8 pin should have 5 black wires in an L shape with 3 yellow ones. There should be no reason for the middle pin to not be populated.
