Gen 4 PCIE offer higher bandwith, almost double from Gen 3. Basically for GPU it will increse the FPS, and for SSD you will get higher data transmission. As long as the hardware already support Gen 4 PCIE. The only reason to buy that because it's will be future proof.Hi. I have 1000$ for a gaming only system - minus a gpu.

- Auros x570 pro + 3600x
