Generic disconnect for a few seconds

For the past week I've been plagued by a weird problem, I get some very short disconnections, it doesn't even show that the network is offline I can only tell by the fact steam disconnects and if I look for something on the internet in that precise moment it doesn't work.

Needless to say this is very problematic when playing online, here's what happens:

-I disconnect something like twice every hour for a few seconds
-Enough to make videogames disconnect from an online game, seems it's not just heavy lag
-Then the weird part, this happens http://i.imgur.com/dUNpAIf.jpg first of all the only feedback from being disconnected I get is the chat on the right, second all my contacts in the friends list refresh their last online to the time I last disconnected, this is obviously something that shouldn't happen.
-Whenever I start a new download on steam, I get an immediate disconnection after like 10 seconds, this is a pretty reliable result that happens often, this time to fix it I need to click "diagnose" in wireless connection status, it gets fixed and the download resumes normally with stable speed like I always used to (around 3mb/s), for some reason though I think this is unrelated to the above points

Also finally I should mention I'm on a wireless connection I've been using for months.

Yep I tried

Do you have any other wireless devices connected to the router? Preferably something you'd notice if the WI-FI dropped. The reason I ask, is that it's not necessarily your computer / WI-FI adapter. It could be the router your connected to.

What router do you have? When was the last time you looked to see if there was a firmware update for it?

I have a router given to me by my ISP when I upgraded to optic fiber like a year ago

Technicolor AG plus VDNT-S Router VDSL2 30Mbs

My only other wireless device is my galaxy note 4

So your router firmware is out of your control. Your ISP will handle any firmware upgrades.

As for as using your Galaxy Note 4, it isn't likely to be as sensitive to WI-FI drop outs as your computer. So that's a dead end.

Is this issue recent? Or have you had it since you upgraded to fiber?

Mistakenly picked as solution, anyway as I said since last week

Nope, as I said the only way I can tell I've been disconnected is through steam, it's that short.

It doesn't even show the yellow triangle.

I don't suppose you have another wireless adapter you can try? It likely if you did, you'd have tried it already, but I thought I'd ask.

It's unlikely that the Wi-Fi from your router is dropping out, or you should see it in the system tray. It could just be the device itself acting up, or something software wise (Windows or errant program).

It would be worth having Task Manager open to see if there is any network traffic when this happens.

Have you run any virus scans? Also might scan with MalwareBytes too.

I had one but I can't find it any longer.

About the device, that's what I thought too but I'm gonna try and time a google search on my phone for when I drop from a game while playing.

I'll try the task manager thing.

I've run adware cleaner and it just found a couple of registry entries, I might try malwarebytes
