Genuine Windows to Non-Genuine Windows, and then Non-Genuine Windows to Genuine Windows again

Hello,

I had purchased a new laptop having genuine windows 10 already installed in it. After a few days I re-installed Windows 10 from a pirated disc (non-genuine). Now how can I make it genuine again?

The license is attached to your hardware so yes you will.

The reason to use MS as the source is that the stolen versions (that's what they are, lets not make it sound sexy by calling them pirated), have additional software added, key loggers, etc.

That's great. How can I make sure that the license was attached to my hardware? Because some version of new laptops come with pre-installed genuine windows, and some of them come without pre-installed windows, and laptop sellers install it manually. How can I confirm that?

A program like rw-everything would be able to detect slic tables in your bios.

Install windows from MS. Once you have done this then talk to us again.

I suspect he may have done it to end up with a "vanilla" Windows install, instead of all that proprietary bloatware that laptop manufacturer's typically pre-install.

Still a foolish thing to do whatever the reason.
