get 1070Ti or wait for 1170 or 1170Ti

Right now i'm using a GTX 960. Honestly, i'm not happy with the performance so i'm planning to upgrade to a 1070Ti but i heard from a friend that the 1170/Ti is coming out probably next month and now i'm conflicted whether i should wait or get a 1070Ti. If anyone knows when the 1070Ti might be coming out that would be useful, thank you.

GTX 1170 Ti wouldn't be til much later than 1170 and 1180.

List your other system specs including power supply and monitor so we know what you've got.

I'm suspecting a higher release price for this generation than previous gens. Hopefully not though.

There is no guarantee when the new cards will get released-some sources say not anytime soon others say next month. The real question is how bad do you need to upgrade? Can you wait possibly an indefinite amount of time or are you ready to take the plunge?

1tb Seagate HDD
(no ssd cuz i had no idea what i was doing when i first built my pc)
The coolermaster K380 Case (which is Pretty crappy)
and an Asus VX279H monitor

Not really since i've got games like escape from tarkov and PUBG which i can barely run even on low quality

Third-party graphics card manufacturers will receive Nvidia’s next-generation “Turing” chips by the end of August or early September supposedly.
