according to

3.6*(15000/60)*2*pi*(2.5*2.54/2)/100/1.609

their speed is up to 111 mph or 180 km/h.

You know that referance to Jiggowatts in that movie was supposed to be Gigawatts but they didn't know how to pronounce it. It's not some special unit of electricity its the Giga abrevation (same as gigabits or gigabytes) they just didn't pronounce correctly.

This is a well made video, but the technologies described are completely obsolete.
The inductive read element has been discarded in the 90s and the longitudinal media shown was replaced by 2006.
Also PRML channels are long gone, actually they originally were created to boost phone line mode performance in the late eighties.
Modern actuators combine VCM and piezzo technologies.
Recent head technology actively manages fly height via thermal profile control.

It's time for an update.
