Hmm... the win10 has been the most stable Windows build I have ever used... so interesting to see what this upgrade does bring.
The biggest problem with win10 is the legasy support, because of that the settings Are divided too Many places and that is indeed a Mess, untill that legasy support is dropped. And that would mean that Many old programs would just stop working.. so that is why the win10 is between old and new and that is somewhat bad.
I almost hope for somekind of dual boot to win10. The legasy mode for old programs and slimmed down new mode that only support programs that follow new rules.
Less bloat that way and Also cleaner ui where everything in settings would be found from one place! That could actually make the Windows Also faster and less resource hog!

I would like that too. I'd never be using the new mode. All the applications I use are so called legacy applications (jEdit, Thunderbird, Firefox, Libre Office, TI's version of eclipse, Octave, g++, etc). One of the nice things about these applications is that I can use them in Linux if I so choose (I use them in both OSes).
I've always thought that Microsoft blew it when they introduced Windows 8. Forcing everyone into a radically different UI in one fell swoop was a mistake. They should have added it as an optional interface to try to gradually switch their consumers over. Especially since the original Apps and the Store pretty much sucked at that time. As an optional interface there wouldn't have been such an uproar in the forums. I personally don't care for the Apps I've tried, they almost never seem to have the capabilities of the applications that perform the same functions.
