As the title says, I have a laptop that I want to use at 144hz. The laptop is the ROG Zephyrus GX501 and has only USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C and HDMI and the monitor I want to use has DVI, VGA and HDMI (Acer GN246HL).
How would I go about getting 144hz from my laptop to my monitor? I'll even go for 120hz, as long as I can plug it into my monitor so I don't have to move my whole setup every time I want to use my laptop for games.
