Hi all,

I've just purchased 2 new screens to make my setup run on 6 24" screens. All good and well, except I can't get it going on the PC.

I have 2 x 2GB AMD RADEON™ R7 240. I've done a bit of reading around the issue, but I couldn't get my head around it. Can I only run 1 x hdmi + 1 x dvi on each one, and then the same again on the other GFX card? If that's the case, do I need to invest in a 3rd card as well to accommodate my new screens?

UPDATE: Hmm this isn't going to be as simple as I was thinking!

As you can see, both the ports are in use (with the GFX cards), so not sure how I would get the 3rd one in there?

TIA!

Thanks for the reply Barty :) I spoke to a friend of mine who works in IT, and he suggested I'd need a beefier GFX card. I ended up going with

XFX Radeon RX 580 8GB GTS XXX Edition Graphics Card

This says it runs 5 screens at the same time (3 x DP, 1 x HDMI and 1 x DVI)

However, that then needed a bigger PS as well, as mine was only 550W rated (the old cards only require 75W each, whereas this new one requires 500W just on its own)

Hopefully that'll do the trick :) It's a lot more money than I was hoping to spend, but I'm hoping it'll be worth it
