i am looking at getting a GTX 970 to replace my two 270x's. i found a few but i cant tell the difference, im hoping you can help me.

here are the ones that i found.

my only concern is that it only has one fan

3. http://www.mwave.com.au/product/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-970-windforce-overclocked-4gb-video-card-ab57328

so my questions for you are.

1.will it matter that it only has one fan?

2. what is the difference between number one and two

3. who make the nvidia cards that have the "Geforce" that lights up on the side because i would like that one

Solution
The single fan EVGA one, is using a "blower" design. Can be a bit louder, but is good if you dont have a big case or much airflow, as the card exhausts out the back.

The two gigabyte ones are more or less the same, better cooler, but will exhaust inside your case. The G1 is a higher overclocked version (not worth paying the extra for IMO).

I would go for the EVGA if you have a small case (or minimal airflow), or the cheaper Gigabyte if you have a bigger case with good airflow.

two 970 cards stand out from the crowd in my very humble opinion.

gygabyte gtx 970 G1 --> best overclocking ( be adviced, this is a loooong card ) if you have a mid tower you will need to remove drive-bays to fit it in
Asus strix gtx 970 --> most silent card ( fan's dont spin under low load, so basically when not gaming ) still very good for overclocking.

I would get either of these.

Ps: i got the asus strix gtx 980 and i love it to bits.

I recommend the EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0. The ACX 2.0 Cooler has 2 fans, it is not a blower design, and it activates itself at a certain temperature. It also comes pre overclocked, which saves you a lot of time. Also, it seems like the prices here are REALLY high. Go on Newegg and find it.
