Actually, as much as it is fun to throw [-peep-] at this guy, I sit back and think about what he's really doing, and it doesn't actually bother me that much that he's ignorant.

I think it's called "NATURAL SELECTION", and it weeds out the crap.

 <b><font color=blue>gnintsakgnirkskir ksron</font color=blue></b>

This snookin guy is probably 13 and his parents are buying him a computer. He thought he could impress us with his swollen head and bloated wallet. He was wrong.

Let's move on....

hey stupid your the one going on a forum bragging about some overpriced piece of crap and then coming back and looking like a doofous say cha cha cha ... you need a life. If you had a life you wouldn't be wasting your time about this nonsense.

You are a Grade A loser and you will never gain respect on this forum or any other. I bet you have no friends.

How can you have any friends with your additude?

you keep saying your rig is better...but you still have yet to list what it is...
sorry yo, but you are grouping us as computer nerds, yet you have an account in this forum, and you bought a falcon northwest...meaning that you would have to be one too?but yeah..list your specs...so we can move on.

Wait, you're all missing the boat:

Getting a system built FOR you by a reputable and stable company (good reliable warranties) does NOT cost an extra $x. When I bought my rig, I did some research and found 3 or 4 places around town that sold comps, where I could pick all my components, and they'd build them for FREE.

That's right, my comp was built for the price of components, and with a 2-yr. warantee, and it's damn fast and damn stable (best components, duh).

For me, I wasn't ready to build myself, and like some dudes here I didn't want to have to deal with it all.. so I got pros to do it, and guess what, it didn't cost me an extra 500-1000 bucks.

Top of the line for the price of components, it's out there.. too bad smookums can't see that.. ah well.

btw- tons of people here DO BUILD systems for a living. Also, don't play the "i've got money" card, cause some people in this industry, who like to occasionally post here, did not get caught in the dot-com bust and can afford whatever they like.

Mmmm... <font color=red>Red Hot</font color=red>

hey, that is great...a 2yr warranty...and built for free!
that is pretty snazzy!
anyone who i build a computer for doesnt get replacement parts, unless i have spares laying around, but i help them out when they need it...
but you got yourself a great deal there...BUT, you did research, and looked around for options, because you KNEW that there was options.

BUT, you did research, and looked around for options, because you KNEW that there was options.
True, but I'm the type that no matter HOW much I make, I'm unwilling to spend more than I should on essential things. I go for the gas station with .02 cents cheaper, not realizing I'm only saving like 60 cents for a tank, or whatev. It's just my nature.

Anyways, it sounds like Falcon-boy did his research, and decided that Falcon was the best damn thing to get period (questionable, at best). I don't know about all this talk about talking to the owner of the company, blah blah, I talked to the owner of the company that I got my PC from, and he's now built 4 PC's for friends and family (cause the price was right, and they're great guys).

Up here, computer shops charge no more than 25 bucks to put components together (got mine for nothin, plus they're willing in some cases to barter around a bit)... I mean c'mon, if anything doesn't work, you make a 15 minute drive across town and they fix it, under warantee... that sure sounds better than packing and shipping and waiting for fixes (most are simple).

Buying a computer doesn't have to be like buying a car (so many ppl. buy Acura 1.6ELs not realizing they are Honda Civics x3 price)

Mmmm... <font color=red>Red Hot</font color=red>

yeah, i like to spend as little as possible as well. bartering is a cool thing too...because i usually have old computer stuff laying around...
i bartered to get my cpu shim...
my friend bought it, had it shipped, and i but him a blowhole, and made him a switch in the extra floppy drive space. bartering is good.
and yeah...packing up the box, PRAYING THAT THE SHIPPING COMPANY DOESNT DESTROY IT, and then waiting weeks to have them install a driver correctly when something goes wrong, that is lame in and of itself...!!!!!

I would like to apologize on behalf of my son for all the negative comments made by my son at this site. He left his computer on at this site and I was a little curious to what he was reading. Looking back, he is getting a new computer with his money he earned this past summer at riding school. He loves horses and computers. His friends do in fact own Falcon computers but he has a few who also build them as well. Seeing as this site is a place for people to come and get ideas, he used poor judgement in attacking the people on this board. While some of the comments made by others where negative as well, Julius obviously started the ball rolling. I will have a talk with him tonight, and will straighten this mess up. Again my appologies.

Busted....

No problem William. I guess Julius won't be called a chimp by his "wife" anytime soon.

If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much.

hmmm....lol....
so is he going to get a falcon or build his own? i am confused now...does he have a falcon? LOL

 😱 [highlyconfusedface]
