I have been using my 500gb laptop HDD for a year but this hard drive is just slow

So finally i am getting a SSD : Silicon Power S60 120GB
Now my plan is to make the SSD "C" Drive and my 500gb HDD for other stuff but i don't want to install windows again (NOT REALLY, But if i have to do it then i will do it :p) i want to CLONE the "C" partition would that be a good idea ? last but not least should i set my SSD at Raid 0 ?

My PC Specifications
►CPU: AMD FX 8350 overclocked @4.6ghz
►CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper EVO 212
►GPU: Asus R9 280x not overclocked
►RAM: 12gb (4+8) corsair 4gb 1333mhz and hynix 8gb 1600mhz but both ram's are running at 1800mhz
►MOBO: ASRock FATAL1TY 990FX KILLER
►PSU: Corsair TX750 Enthusiast Series

Yeah - you'll have to install Windows on the new SSD.

Has the Silicon Power SSD had good reviews? How much is it? From where?

Try http://pcpartpicker.com/part/crucial-internal-hard-drive-ct128mx100ssd1 instead - good reviews

Then you'll have to remove Windows from the hard drive to prevent mis-booting (to the wrong drive).

Laptop HDDs usually only run at 5400rpm. That's why they're slow. You should replace it with a Seagate Barracuda or WD Black drive.

Raid is for combining hdds/ssd, you do not need to use this, just make sure your bios is set to ahci.

Can i suggest Samsung? Their 120GB is roughly the same price and you can use their migration software. Not sure what other migration programs are good + free.

Preferrably clean install, migration is an option but there is a risk of it not being 100% right and random glitches are possible.

i know i wanted to buy that too but as i am getting gta v for pc so i cannot spend too much money for the SSD and this SSD has some good reviews on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009GG06F8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A25SITGFW0OQJA

If you don't put any windows files on the SSD then it won't boot.

You have to install Windows onto the SSD for it to boot.

That SSD is sus. Find benchmarks, reviews and comparisons before committing to it.

I'd get the MX100 I posted the link to.

As i am getting gta v for pc so i don't have enough money to spend for the ssd :( that's why i have chose that one but i have seen some benchmarks on youtube they are pretty decent not bad
