Hey guys,

I have a very smoothly running PC, which I didn't have any problems with in a very long time.
However, for a few days now, I get 3 - 4 BSOD's a week, mainly with three arguments:

System_Thread_Exception_Not_Handled
Bad_Pool_Caller
System_Service_Exception

I have to admit that I am a complete newbie when it comes to this topic, so I don't even know how to look at the dump files 🙁

I checked system integrity and ran a malware / virus scanner.

My assumption would be some sort of graphics driver incompatibility (probably some old software?), as I get the errors ever since I installed a new graphics card.

Solution
try running hardware info 64 turn on sensor and logging watch your 12v rail. you can see if it power issues if the rail drops or you pull the gpu and the error stops.
with the power off make sure the gpu all the way into the video card slot and the gpu power plugs are locked in. also check the ram make sure it still locked in. from a usb stick make a bootable copy of memtest86 run it over night. also download hardware info 64 set it to sensor and logging watch the 12v rail make sure it over 12v. in the bios make sure the 12v rail is over 12v. ass you did not post the gpu or the power supply please do. there are some cheap units out there (power supply). and when there loaded down with a gpu they ripple out or drop below atx spec.

Thanks for the reply!
I made sure everything is plugged in correctly and checked the power supply - nothing to be found.
Got a Corsair 650 W PSU, don't quite remember the exact model, and am running a MSI GTX 970 OC alongside an Intel i5-4670 @stock voltage (obviously), so Watts should be plenty.
Is there any way to quick-test my RAM? Using my pc for work as well, so I would have to wait till tonight to run memtest.
