Question Getting BSOD from ASUS ac53 nano WIFI usb.

So I have been getting a lot of BSOD and recently it has gotten worse in which whenever I join my home wifi my pc instantly BSOD (DPC_Watchdog_Violation). However if I am not connected to any networks PC works fine. I reinstalled windows while keeping my files and it seem like it fixed it the night I did it, however today (next morning) I put my computer to sleep and when I turn on my PC it BSOD after logging on. I analysed the minidump file and found out that its caused by rtwlanu.sys, which is the ASUS ac53 driver. I deleted and reinstalled the latest driver from their website and still no luck, I checked the mini dump file and still its caused by rtwlanu.sys. So basically now my BSOD from turning my pc on after I put it on sleep. Apparently one of the fixes to this is doing on device manager and pressing "allow this device to wake the computer" on the Wireless adapter properties, however the option is greyed out and I can't press it. Can anyone help me? Thank you!

rtwanlu.sys is actually the realtek Wireless LAN driver. Device has the realtek RTL8812BU chipset as per http://en.techinfodepot.shoutwiki.com/wiki/ASUS_USB-AC53_Nano

annoyingly, according to realtek website the last new driver for it was 2018 which is sure a different date to the Asus website

fun fact is if you search the driver number given on Asus - 1030.36.0604.2018 - it includes 2018 in code and well, I find it listed from 2019 as well. Often Asus change details in the launch package but the drivers insitalled aren't as new.

I wouldn't be amazed to find out its a relabelled win 8 driver.

How new is the adapter? you might find getting a newer one helps. Maybe one that supports ax, as at least then you know its new.

I got this adapter about 10 months ago it was working fine, but I might consider buying a new one wifi adapter

its possible a change in windows was the reason, I often see adapters that worked fine up until x time suddenly not working. I have searched for that chip before this year so it might have been removed from a list of something. So it might be related to driver signatures in win 10, you could try it on an older pc and it might still work fine.

I'm still getting Bsod with my adapter, however would installing the old RTL8812BU realtek drivers from their website instead ASUS fix this issue, cause I'm using their drivers instead of the recent asus one and my computer is not getting any Bsod yet... (If I do experience any crashes I'm gonna buy a new wifi card).
