Question Getting BSODs

Good day, I'm currently having trouble with blue screens. My PC was working fine until about the last week of April where blue screens occur at random times. I suspect that it's a hardware problem, specifically my HDD but it and all of the parts are relatively new. I tried a few fixes I saw online first before deciding to reinstall windows. Blue screens still persists even with a fresh install. I might do another reinstall.

I tried:
chkdsk
sfc
DISM
Windows reinstall
Driver updates
Windows update

(Currently posting using my phone, I can't provide any dump files and try any solutions but I will post my pc specs soon if needed)

Edit: link to my recent minidumps

ASUS H110M-D
Single 4GB RAM
No graphics card
1TB HDD (C: ) & 2TB HDD (D: & F: )
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit 1909

Edit: Added new minidump after a recent BSOD

There is a BIOS update available for your system. You are using version 3401 and the latest is version 4211. Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

Be sure to post any new dumps to a new folder and provide a new link each time, otherwise it gets difficult for me to determine which ones are new and which aren't. You're fine so far, I found all of them. :)

This information can be used by others to help you. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

What brand are the hdd as many manufacturers have tests you can run on their drives to check health.

Both the errors you get could be caused by a hdd, just as easily as they can be other things. Unexpected store exception always traps me, I used to think it was storage, then I thought it was USB, but having seen it often enough I am not sure it is that obvious. Critical process died can be one of a number of system files that if they crash, windows has no choice but to follow.

Error 1: DISK_HARDWARE_ERROR: There was error with disk hardware
Error 2: mentions partmgr which is the partition manager . volmgr which is the volume manager for windows, mentions a hard fault which is a hard drive operation, and mentions virtual memory as well. It was decompressing info out of ram and trying to write it to hdd.
Error 3: this looks like it read info off hdd into virtual memory and then crashed.

I would check health of drives before we think about updating BIOS (you are 7 versions behind) or update drivers. First 3 errors lean in direction of it being hard drive, so lets confirm that first :)

Sorry for the late reply, was kinda busy today.

Both hard drives are Seagate.

Earlier, I was playing some games installed at D: without any problems encountered.

EasyAnticheat caused the first error
Mar 26 2020EasyAntiCheat.sysEasyAntiCheat is a anti-cheat driver
from what I know, only way to update that is via the game. Its possible it was caused by lan drivers as they are old
Oct 22 2018rt640x64.sysRealtek NICDRV 8169 PCIe GBE Family Controller driver
Newest: https://www.realtek.com/en/componen...0-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software

2nd mentions RAS SSTP Miniport Call Manager (RAS = Remote Access Service).
The Remote Access Service (RAS) enables remote workstations to establish a dial-up connection to a LAN and access resources on the LAN as if the remote workstation were on the LAN. WAN miniport drivers provide the interface between RAS and wide area network (WAN) cards such as ISDN, X.25, and Switched 56 adapters.

its part of windows and normal, could be another indication its lan drivers?

Maybe the lan drivers are reason you have had internet issues last few weeks? Or perhaps just a coincidence?

Sorry if I am bothering anyone with this post and my lateness. (wow, second time.)

I reinstalled windows in the new HDD, it's all good there.

It was probably the lan drivers combined with my ISP here that caused my internet problems, I have updated the drivers and it was running fine until today, another sudden BSOD. I really don't understand what's wrong with my PC now. I have done everything I could think of.

it was during an operation where it was copying info off the ssd/hdd into memory. I used to think the Store was storage, now I know its virtual memory (which is mostly ram)

IO_ERROR: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000483 - The request failed due to a fatal device hardware error.
although that sounds ominous, I suspect it could still be drivers (although I always do)... especially since it also says
DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: WIN8_DRIVER_FAULT
just in case...
Try running memtest86 on your ram stick, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram with errors. Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it

If you are still on BIOS version 3401, there are 9 BIOS versions since then so they could help. Instructions on how to update are in here - https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/B250M-BASALT/E13571_BIOS_Update_EM_V4_WEB.pdf
I would also run the ME Update tool on this page - https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H110M-D/HelpDesk_BIOS/
I would update chipset drivers - https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H110M-D/HelpDesk_Download/

I would update LAN drivers - https://www.realtek.com/en/componen...0-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software

Again with the trend of a month after the last BSOD, it happened. I am still confused. I don't have much to say. I have updated the drivers. Unfortunately, I am not that confident in updating the BIOS due to the current weather here, there have been a lot of thunderstorms so something might go wrong while updating.

Here are the latest dump files: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wd1NIiiUDZ5mYTaqV5agYLJTXPYsS__S?usp=sharing

Yeah, don't update bios in those conditions. Although its still something you may want to do as 9 versions behind could mean you missing a fix included in one of them.

try running this on ram
Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors. Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it

just checking.

try running this and upload the zip file it creates, might show me some clues - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/pages/bsodcollectionapp/

I have recently updated the bios, success. Then I got another BSOD, only one as of writing this.

Here's the dump: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1lodGriQyl3-8q1QHw8ZjmwxFXransfC3?usp=sharing

I ran memtest, no errors, but I still suspect that it's the RAM that's causing the blue screens. I only have a single stick of 4GB RAM.
I got my error on the first try but then I ran memtest for a few more times with 0 errors. Then a few days back, ran Memtest again and got another error. I think you need to run memtest 4-8 times to be conclusive.(It doesn't run into errors each and every time)

I feel that was maybe caused by Internet access, as it mentions NDU which is the Windows Network Data Usage Monitor Driver... so LAN drivers or Kaspersky.

there is a newer version of this
Feb 12 2020 - rt640x64.sys - Realtek NICDRV 8169 PCIe GBE Family Controller driver
see https://www.realtek.com/en/componen...0-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software

if BSOD continue, can you uninstall kaspersky while we fix problem, it will at least remove it as a possible cause.
