Getting low Fps in Csgo

Gtx 1070
8 Gb ram
I7-6700k

I get like 120-220 Fps in csgo

My brother is playing on a laptop with:

I7-7700Hq
Gtx 1050 Ti
8 Gb ram

And gets a stable 170

Why am I getting so low fps and what can I do to fix it?

First of all, he's using a better CPU, his laptop might have a G-Sync display which would give him more stable FPS, and check the settings he may be running at lower ones than you that are more easy to handle. Also I wouldn't call 120 fps low FPS, once it goes below 60 fps then say something otherwise calm down its nothing to worry about your FPS is fine.

Interesting, try checking the setting's your brother is using, they're probably lower than yours, try lowering your settings in game or try using a G-Sync monitor, also when has 120 fps ever bin unplayable? I think your just over exaggerating whats happening here.
