Getting low frame rate in Witcher 3 and Battlefield 4 (R7 1700/GTX1080)

I just built my pc but I have some frame rate problems with it on some games. I'm getting 55-60 fps in Witcher 3 when maxed out, and 100fps in BF4 again in maxed out. But I dont have any problems with the Rise of the Tomb Raider. So what may be the problem ? People are getting 150-160 fps in BF4 and 90 to 100 in Witcher 3.

what resolution are u playing the game on?sounds like your cpu is a bottleneck to the 1080.in bf4 try and upscale the resolution if u are playing on 1080 and see if there is any difference.

Try disable nvidia hairworks on witcher 3 that will give a massive increase in fps
