getting new 144hz monitor ,1440p how will i handle it?

My current specs are

How do think i will manage? dont mind lowering the settings because people say 144hz is worth it

That graphics card will have a 240Hz Max refresh rate, so it'll be able to max the monitor and then have some left over I'd guess.

1070 is a good card but not a card for consistent 144fps in 1440p in all games and lowering resolution or details won't assure it.

A monitor is an investment and even if you don't get full usage out of it now doesn't mean you wont from future upgrades.
