getting new mobo and cpu

im changing out my mobo and cpu so iknow ill need a fresh windows. but i only have 1 1tb harddrive which has both my windows and normal files on it. So how will i go about with the upgrade when i fresh install windows will it delete everything off the drive or what?

You will need a backup drive to get your park your important files when you install Windows. From you account, it does not seem like you have any partition on that 1tb. So when you will install Windows fresh, it will format the entire drive wiping out all data.
Get a second drive. Backup your important data and then install Windows on your primary drive.
This time around, when you go about installing Windows, make sure you create a 100gb partition on that drive for Windows.
