Getting Packet Loss

So I'm getting packet loss in multiple game, (Paladins, Rocket League, Battlefront) the only game I am positive that I am receiving packet loss on is Battlefront. Due to the fact their is an overlay that shows me (Not sure if that is possible on the others) I was wondering how it might be possible to isolate what is causing this loss or where these packets are being dropped?

To make sure you have a packet loss problem in general, vs say on just a few mp servers, go to http://www.pingtest.net/, and run their packet loss, ping, jitter test.

Note that you can't use Chrome to do it, as it requires Java to run the packet loss test. So use Explorer, and make sure you have the latest Java plugin for Explorer.

I ran that test (Used Firefox) I was dropping 1 out of every 250 occasionally.

How old is your modem, and is it firmware updated?
