Question Getting visual delay on external monitor but no delay on laptop screen ?

Hi everyone!

I have a MSI GE76 Raider Gaming Laptop - 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H - GeForce RTX 3070 - 240Hz 1080p with a cheap Samsung monitor C32F397FWN. The connection I use is HDMI.

I noticed that when I use my notebook screen, there is no delay in gameplay. But as soon as I use the Samsung monitor, I noticed an input lag.

Any help will be appreciated

Did you buy an HDMI 3.0 or better rated cable ?
