I recently returned my new Abit Siluro GF4MX-440 card to store in exchange (payed the difference)for an ATI Radeon 8500 retail. Sure the card smoked the GF4 in 3dMark 2001, but believe it or not, I am getting lower framerates on Unreal. I set my monitore refresh rate to 85 Hertz, and use the time demo statistics mode which displays the fps on top of the game screen. I was achieving exactly 84-85 (same as refresh limit), but on the Radeon 8500 I am only getting around 71 fps, duh! What the hell is that! I have a strange believe that this cards drivers are "OPTIMIZED" for 3dmark, Quake, but are not really consistent throughout most games. ATI's downfall will be their drivers, that's what will kill'em at the end. Oh, by the way I'm using the official driver version 6.13.10.6015

Forgot to mention that I was using 1024x768 -32bit color depth. Even at higher res the GF4 still ran better.

Use the 6043, and turn off V-Sync and you'll see that score jump to at least 120fps.
