Gigabyte GT 440 DDR3 1 GB and XFX GT 240 DDR5 1GB ......................Which will be better......???

But this seems messy and i dont understand...........Please help me out.........!!!

The 240 is better unless you want to run DX11, in which case you need the 440 because the 240 is only DX10 capable. BUT, they both fairly weak cards, so there wouldn't be any point in trying to push DX11 effects with the 440.

The GT 240 is better because of the GDDR5 memory, while the GT 440 has DDR3.

I only have the money for these cards............if any suggestions around the price range it will be gladly accepted as i dont know that much about GFX cards...........!!!

They are very similar products, siblings from the same parent.
6670 is the big bro and has roughly 16% increase in performance over 6570.
Basically you get what pay for..

If you get GT 240 DDR5 and Ati 5670 or 6670 which one would you chose................I know they are weak cards but those are the ones i can afford............!!!

I'd get the AMD 6670 GDDR5 1GB for all the latest features and DX11.
If you don't care much for those things and just want good decent performance you can check out GTX 260
