GFX cards recommendtions for Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H

Hey guys,

I currently have a Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H running with Intel i7 3770, 2x 8gb Kingston Value Ram and a pretty poor Nvidia 9400GT Graphics card and 600W of power.

I currently run 2 monitors off the card, but looking to add a 3 and wondering how to support this and a recommendation for a new card or cards.

I use 2x 23in HD (DVI-D connections) monitors and looking to hook my main 40in TV for watching movies direct from my computer also, this would have to be a HDMI connection.

May also be looking into upgrading the ram to 32gb with the same type I as already have.

What are leaning more towards? Ati or nvidia gpu?
And what's the purpose of your build that you are thinking of upgrading to 32gb of RAM?

Budget is £150 / $250 for a card ideally, if I need two cards then up the budget a bit.
I don't really know what the difference between them aslong is it compatible and is going to last a few years without needing to upgrade.
I use the computer for picture editing, video processing, gaming and streaming etc, 16gb works fine with the pictures, but hoping to move to video processing and thought the extra might help.

Its bit above your budget, but it's very ideal card for you. Has pretty good reviews and comes with 3gb vram and will run fine for your 3 displays.

I think 16gb ram for you would be enough. Just keep your ram as it is. You can buy it anytime whenever you want to if you ever came through situation when your system really needs it

Also before you install new gpu go through these steps:
First of all download Driver sweeper from here: http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.html and extract it.
And download CCleaner from here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ and install it.
Then follow the steps below:
1. Uninstall your previous graphics driver through the control panel->Program and Features.
2. (Important)Restart and boot into safe mode.
3. Run Driver Sweeper and unistall all gpu drivers in your pc.
4. Restart and boot to the regular desktop.
5. Run CC Cleaner and remove registries.
6. Shutdown, unplug power cable and then install your new gpu.
7. Start and install latest drivers for your new graphics card.

Also you might want to take look at your power supply:
Make sure its more than 600 watts(would be best if it atleast 80+ certified), as minimum recommendation is 575 watts for gtx 780 gpu.
7. Install the new driver
8. Restart

that card has 2gb vram and i don't think you will be able to run 3 displays in future. Your vram will be limiting your 3 displays+Temperature are tend to rise more with dual gpu than a single card. So get one card from above i have mentioned and you can sli whenever you have more money in your pocket

Both are good to go but gtx 760 is little more again with your budget. Also, gtx 660ti will outperform R7 270x. And sli gtx 760 will be equivalent to gtx titan gpu.

You probably want to go with an Rx series amd card. Otherwise, to get that third monitor you are going to have to get an active display port adapter, which are 30-40 bucks.
