Ghosting issue on new Acer XB271HU Normal?

Hey

I used a 1080p 60hz monitor for what seems to be forever and then I decided to upgraded to the very highly rated XB271HU. Only thing is tho, everything seems ghosty, taking videos of games and such and I can in fact see ghosting and like a trail of a object that i turned the camera away from.

Now I could say I have a defect monitor but for various other issues I have had to replace the monitor twice for brand new units, all of which consist of the same ghosting, the other 2 had very high yellow tints and had to calibrate.

Is this a 1 in a million chance of being very unlucky or is this the effect of a higher response time with IPS and 1440p. Should I get a refund a buy a tn monitor if so as I am a competitive gamer and it is quite annoying or is it something I should have to get used to. I have 7 days to inquire a refund so time is shortening 😛

Thanks guys

No 144hz should have less blur and look much smoother than 60hz, I was thoroughly impressed when I first got the monitor. I have no noticeable blur with OD at normal. I have never heard of an issue with a monitor that would cause excessive blur, or any issue with hardware.
I have the asus pg279q which is the same LG panel as your acer but with an asus shell. When I first got it I did notice a significant amount of ghosting until I enabled a feature called OD (overdrive), look for it in the monitors menu, I use the normal setting extreme is too much.

Hello

Yes I have had a look at the OD and I have tried it on all settings, with a lot of blur on all, is this a effect from 144hz and im not used to it and its making me dizzy from the blur or is it my pc or dodgy monitors
