Question Ghosting on new monitor

Just upgrade my monitor to a vg249q 1080 144hz monitor, since doing so ive noticed some visual ghosting while playing Rust (only place ive noticed it so far) im hoping someone can give me some advice, its driving me crazy. If you look at the red part on the holo sight of my gun you will see what im refering to.. its the only place I see it so far.

ive tried everything I could find on google... turning off anti aliasing, adjusting monitor settings, turning on monitor "boost" turning off anti aliasing in geforce

Your first step in attempting to fix monitor ghosting is to turn on your device’s overdrive function. This feature is called something different for each manufacturer, but for most monitor brands, it’s simply referred to as the overdrive function. To access it, follow these steps:

• Once in the menu, activate the overdrive function
• Activating this feature allows you to change the level of overdrive according to the refresh rate of your monitor
