Gigabyte 970A-UD3 mobo

I am trying to install windows xp pro on this comp. I recently built it around a month and a half ago. I can install Win vista/7/8 without any problems. But my problem is installing XP and wanted to know if anyone who has this mobo has installed xp on it. The computer reads the win xp disc and boots from it. It gets to the the point where its installing the temp files after i format the partition, and it reboots, once rebooted i get a disc read error. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
