Gigabyte Announces Supports for Kaveri A-Series

Gigabyte this week announced official support for AMD's new Kaveri APUs. The company says its Kaveri support will include AMD A88X and A55 motherboards as well as upcoming A78 motherboards.

either drop the a10 7850k price down to $150, or make a8 7600 available now at $120. until then, both desktop a10 apu prices make haswell core i3 and i5 look better. because at their current prices, kaveri's target customer base might have to buy cheaper motherboards with lesser features and quality. additionally, some of the fx cpus are selling for really cheap prices.

Because they replaced it with a88x, a85x is obsolete.

a CPU that is better than i5-4670k, and can play battlefield 4 on medium setting on 1080p, $170 is reasonable. again i repeat, A CPU, CPU only without graphic cards. a whole CPU combine with GPU in a chip $170. and i5-4670k cost more than $200 and to run battlefield 4, it requires at least a GTX650 which cost another $100 bucks, thats $300 bucks. sorry i rather take the APU.

I'm with you on that one. But that requires brains to see, and i guess most of people will still buy i5 and a fabulous GT430 with 4GB!! Mother of God...
